On December 22, the Provincial Party Committee’s Economic Work Conference was held in Zhengzhou. The conference thoroughly implemented the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Party and the Central Economic Work Conference, earnestly carried out the important instructions delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour of Henan Province, as well as his significant remarks on Henan’s work. The conference summarized this year’s economic achievements, analyzed the current economic situation, and laid out plans for next year’s economic work, ensuring a good start and solid footing for the 15th Five-Year Plan. Liu Ning, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended and delivered a speech; Governor Wang Kai delivered a concluding speech. Other provincial leaders, including Kong Changsheng, Chairman of the Provincial Political Consultative Conference, also attended the meeting. Li Houwen, Chairman of Lianhua Holdings, was invited to attend as a representative of entrepreneurs and delivered a speech at the breakout discussion session.

Liu Ning pointed out that next year marks the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan, making it of great significance to do a good job in economic development. The overall guiding principle is: taking Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era as our guide, thoroughly implementing the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Party, successive plenary sessions of the 20th Central Committee, and the Central Economic Work Conference; deeply studying and putting into practice the important speeches delivered by General Secretary Xi Jinping during his inspection tour of Henan Province as well as his important remarks on Henan’s work; carrying out the arrangements made at the 9th and 10th Plenary Sessions of the 11th Provincial Party Committee; focusing on the “1+2+4+N” target system; fully, accurately, and comprehensively implementing the new development philosophy; integrating and serving the accelerated establishment of a new development pattern; vigorously promoting high-quality development; adhering to the general tone of seeking progress while maintaining stability; better coordinating development and security; implementing more proactive and effective macro policies; enhancing the foresight, pertinence, and synergy of these policies; continuously expanding domestic demand and optimizing supply; improving new growth drivers and revitalizing existing ones; developing new quality productivity suited to local conditions; deeply integrating into and serving the construction of a nationwide unified market; persistently preventing and resolving risks in key areas; concentrating efforts on stabilizing employment, enterprises, markets, and expectations; strengthening advantages, boosting momentum, invigorating vitality, and enhancing efficiency; driving the economy toward both qualitative improvement and reasonable quantitative growth; maintaining social harmony and stability; ensuring a good start to the 15th Five-Year Plan; and striving to write a new chapter for the Central Plains region in advancing Chinese-style modernization.

During the breakout session, Li Houwen stated: “Secretary Liu Ning’s speech summarized the remarkable achievements made in the province’s economic and social development from six key aspects and provided a comprehensive and systematic plan for next year’s economic work across ten major areas. This speech offers fundamental guidance and actionable direction for our current and future economic endeavors, clearly outlining specific paths and methods. We will thoroughly implement the spirit of this meeting into our enterprise’s production and operational practices, fully advancing Lianhua Holdings’ ‘Consumption + Technology’ dual-drive strategy. On the one hand, in our core seasoning business, we will continue to consolidate and expand the advantages of our traditional products while stepping up R&D efforts for new products and exploring new distribution channels, with a strong focus on optimizing both product and channel structures. New products such as Lianhua Matsutake Fresh and soy sauce have already become new growth drivers within our seasoning segment. On the other hand, in the computing power and artificial intelligence technology sector, we will leverage Lianhua Zixing’s accumulated strengths in large-scale computing models and, building on the launch of multiple AI products including Lian Xiao He, Lian Xiao Miao, and Lian Xiao Ring, accelerate the iterative upgrades of our products and services.”

Finally, Li Houwen stated that next year marks the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan. Both the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee’s economic work conferences emphasized “dominating with domestic demand and deeply implementing actions to boost consumption and drive transformation.” Lotus Holdings will, in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee’s economic work conferences, continue to enhance its innovation capabilities in both “consumption + technology,” focusing on these two key pillars.
