On September 1–2, Lianhua Holdings organized a centralized onboarding training program for newly hired management trainees and other new employees. The company’s Vice Chairman and CEO, Zeng Yanshuo; Chief Operating Officer, Mei Shenlin; and Chief Talent Officer, Wang Jin, attended the events. Heads of relevant functional departments and key business personnel also participated as instructors. New hires from the Marketing Center, Production Center, R&D Center, Quality Control Center, and other departments took part in the training.

Speech by Wang Jin, Chief Talent Officer of the company

At the opening ceremony of the training program, Wang Jin, on behalf of the company, extended a warm welcome to the new employees joining the Lianhua family. He also highlighted the remarkable business results achieved in recent years through the company’s “Brand Revitalization Strategy,” as well as the fresh outlook and notable accomplishments in talent development and team building. In recent years, to align with its strategic growth objectives, the company has steadily strengthened its talent acquisition efforts—through campus recruitment, open hiring, and other channels—while continuously reinforcing its talent pipeline, thereby injecting renewed vitality and momentum into the company’s drive for high-quality development.

Mei Shenlin, the company’s Chief Operating Officer, delivered a keynote address titled “Pooling Strengths to Drive Our Dual‑Wheel Strategy and Embark on the 818 Plan—Unleashing Youth Power to Usher in a New Era of High‑Quality Development for Lianhua.”

In his address, Mei Shenlin emphasized that the Management Trainee Program is the cornerstone of the company’s talent strategy and serves as a robust talent pipeline to underpin the implementation of its medium- and long-term vision. Young employees carry the vital expectations for the enterprise’s future growth. From the comprehensive advancement of deepened reforms in 2021, to the successful execution of the “Brand Revitalization Strategy” in 2022—which yielded significant operational gains—through to the adoption of a dual‑engine strategy driven by “Consumption + Technology” by 2025, and the official launch this year of the “818 High‑Quality Development Plan,” the company has firmly set its sights on medium- and long-term objectives. Each leap forward in the Lotus business has been the collective result of the hard work and relentless dedication of outstanding Lotus professionals. Looking ahead, the company will remain anchored in the “Consumption + Technology” dual‑engine strategy and the “818 High‑Quality Development Plan,” propelling Lotus to a new stage of high‑quality growth. With wave after wave of fresh talent joining the ranks, now is the perfect moment to set sail and seize the opportunity—a time when great achievements are within reach.

Mei Shenlin articulated six expectations for young employees: First, cultivate a holistic sense of the bigger picture and align personal growth with the company’s strategic vision. Second, remain committed to hands-on, practical work, honing genuine skills and expertise through real‑world experience on the front lines. Third, maintain steadfast focus and embrace a long-term perspective, striving to be marathon runners rather than sprinters. Fourth, adopt an open‑minded, “empty‑cup” mindset, proactively adapting to the company’s strategic needs and striving to become well‑rounded, multi‑skilled professionals. Fifth, dare to take responsibility, act decisively, and recognize that only by delivering results can one earn their place. Sixth, uphold professional integrity and safeguard the foundation for sustainable, long‑term success. In closing, he encouraged everyone to cherish the opportunities afforded by the platform, to strive for a win‑win outcome that enhances both personal and corporate value, to resonate in harmony with the company through concrete achievements, and to harness the energy of youth in shaping a new future of high‑quality development for Lianhua.

This two-day training program covers key topics including brand culture, brand history, strategic planning, product development, quality control, production management, organizational policies and processes, career‑development sharing, and campus‑site experiences. Following the intensive training, new employees will also participate in structured, role‑specific skill‑building sessions.
